The note adds that President Roosevelt intends to follow McKinley policy and references a World cereal supply resume showing 1,056,000,000 bushels, a shrinkage from the prior year.
Special to The State Greenwood Nov 30 news of a Thursday robbery at Jebn Drennan's farm near Hibler. A strong box containing cash and mortgaged papers was broken open and 1500 dollars stolen. No clues yet, though hosts say more money may have been hidden elsewhere.

Frank F B Kellbach a 37 year old man of prominence in Savannah politics and society reportedly jumped overboard from the steam ship Chattahoochee en route to New York. He had long served as ordinary and chief clerk, leaving his post after a recent office change, a loss of pay he felt unappreciated by the city.
Special dispatch reports a brutal shotgun killing at Dasie Smith's home near Walhalla, with Jim Barton and Mrs Dunn involved. Sheriff Moss detains Barton. Dunn and Barton linked to the confrontation. Dasie Smith, 18, noted as a troubled figure, dies from a single close range shot as tensions with Barton and Dunn escalate.

Special to the State reports Mrs. Burch, about 60, fatally burned when a spark from the fireplace ignited lint while she mended a cotton quilt. She lingered 36 hours before death. the house was quickly extinguished after the blaze.
New York November 30 The Christian Herald reports a dispatch from President Washbun of the missionary college in Constantinople stating Miss Stone is alive and well. Negotiations are suspended with no immediate prospect for the prisoner’s release.
The notice prohibits walking riding hunting cutting wood or trespass on lands two miles east of town called Junper Cingham Chafee places and J P Hunter lands two miles south of town. Landowners named include D A Williams J B Ponder burk Leroy Springs W J Cummings ham Tillman W A Hewell and others. The law will be enforced against any trespassers. Enforced Nov 9 1901 by B Plyler.
All persons are notified and forbidden to enter hunt fish cut or haul timber or trespass on the land described as 100 acres in Gillia Creek Township Lancaster County South Carolina.
