Orangeburg March 31 Ree dy Robinson colored shot and killed his brother Frank on their place near Bowman after a quarrel while farming together. Ree dy surrendered claiming self defense stating Frank shot him first and that the brothers were unable to agree on work. Ree dy was slightly wounded in the hand. coat showed shot fragments.

Desperate Deed Of Young Dobson Ends in Tragedy

New York report recounts a jealous murder after a hallway struggle at a Manhattan apartment. Wm J Peppler is shot and killed by Wm Earl Dobson a former Southern Railway accountant now sought by police. Mrs Peppler, a key witness, is hospitalized and described as temporarily insane from shock.

The Campbell Settlement Progress Report

A second step in settling the county treasurer matter occurred at the State Bank where 6000 dollars were on deposit to Mr Campbell. Questions arose if all was county money. The sum was turned over to the comptroller general and credited to the county, leaving about 7500 dollars still unaccounted for.
