Bainbridge Family Escape After Colorado Springs Crash
William Bainbridge a Colorado Springs mining man and his wife and three daughters narrowly escaped death when two tires burst near Dead Man's canon. The car overturned. the women and girls were thrown clear while Mr and Mrs Bainbridge were trapped. Mrs Bainbridge freed herself and, despite injuries, used a jack to lift the car enough for her husband to escape. He suffered a broken collar bone but is not seriously hurt besides cuts.
