The Forest Service in Washington DC invites bids up to August 1 1908 for merchantable dead timber and live timber marked for cutting on a 5 percent area near the Rio Grande watershed. Estimated volumes include 150000 feet of yellow pine, 160000 feet Douglas fir, 75000 feet white fir, 7000 feet blue spruce, 75000 feet aspen and 75000 feet dead timber. Minimum bids set at 3.25 per thousand feet for yellow pine and Douglas fir and 1.50 for other species. $100 bid deposit required to H B Cramer, Forest Agent. Right to reject all bids reserved.
