Auto Road to Park Links Kemmerer to Yellowstone

Dan F Harrison, recently named deputy engineer for the Lincoln Highway association in the county, advocates an auto road into Yellowstone National Park. He cites $800 000 in hand for road work west of the Missouri River and supports a route through Fall River basin and Hoback canyon to the Snake River. Oregon Short Line right of way and cooperation from the Forest Service and Reclamation Service are sought to establish a permanent road that will boost Kemmerer and Lincoln County tourism by directing travelers south rather than north into Montana.
