Lincoln Exploration Extends Activities In Oil Deal

Messrs. Ivan L. Jones C D Stafford A Cronin and John Tanner Hill returned to Kemmerer after a week in southern Utah. They inspected Dixie Oil Company holdings and arranged a deal for Lincoln Exploration to take a half interest in 2000 acres of Dixie land. Oil lies shallow with wells completed to about 570 feet producing ~15 barrels per day. Local optimism cites a potential new field with strong demand and a prior Dixie contract for full output. The party traveled by National car, with the trip covering about ninety five miles from the railroad, extending from Lund to the exploration site.
