An Idaho Wyoming Oil Company rig struck oil in the Fossil field at 192 feet. Specialists estimate a 15 barrel daily pumping capacity if shot now, with plans to drill deeper to a second sand likely at 300 to 400 feet. Wyoming miners seek wage raise in Cheyenne talks

Soldiers Parade Through Kemmerer En Route to New York
Two trainloads of Oregon soldiers passed Kemmerer at dawn. About 8 am the first train stopped briefly for exercise and fresh air as locals gathered. Several hundred soldiers formed lines and marched around the triangle, recalling old times, before continuing to New York City.
