Double Tragedy Drowns Two Conroy Youths During Duck Hunt
Two youths, Chas Rose age 13 and Earl Daniels age 15, drowned at Gabardi reservoir near Conroy while duck hunting Monday afternoon. An eight year old witness saw a leaky boat overturn while the boys retrieved ducks. both disappeared and were found dead after a 24 hour search with digging and draining efforts continuing.
