Widow seeks election to take one half of the estate instead of a 2500 legacy.
Hugo Donzleman, former Wyoming Attorney General from Cheyenne, spent Monday and Tuesday in Kemmerer with Mrs. Anna Richey. They prepared for the cattle rustling trial set to be held here next month. Donzleman is noted as a leading criminal lawyer who has defended in major Wyoming cases. He returned to Cheyenne last evening.
Thomas Clinton the president and manager of Lincoln-Idaho Oil Co this week purchased a National rig from Green River Petroleum Co. The rig will be moved to the southwest quarter of section six for drilling to start soon. Frank J Bon of Cheyenne represented Green River Petroleum in the deal.
A garage owned by Mr PT Quiely was broken into last night around ten. Fred Pfeifer, sleeping above, heard doors opening and rushed downstairs but the would be thieves had fled. E H Scheidler and wife of Daniel were in Kemmerer Monday on business and visiting friends.
Thorns B. Jefferson of Denver, a veteran investor, spent much of the last war investigating local oil fields. He is linked with several Denver capitalists and is seeking acreage in both the Beast and Dry Piney fields.

Theodosa Winn daughter of Mr and Mrs Ephi am ar Oe neat was laid to rest after a recent operation. The funeral service was held Sunday at L D B church and the remains were shipped to Pocatello for burial with arrangements by Keranisses Unsere company.
Earl Parker who has supervised the family holdings in the Foasil field for weeks will depart tomorrow for Leavenworth Kansas. He said on Monday he closed a deal with local men for one Parker Carry us All ride to be delivered in Kemmerer in March.
Frontier miner Koonyanm died Friday morning at LC M hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the UMWA hall in Frontier and the body was laid to rest in the city cemetery. Kemmerer Undertaking Company had charge of the arrangements.
A. P. Heitz of Bancroft Idaho spent yesterday in Kemmerer renewing old acquaintances and conducting business. He said Bancroft enjoys a splendid hardware and furniture trade and both he and Mrs. Heitz are pleased with their Idaho home.
A. Whittaker of Reno is in Kemmerer arranging start of development on the Water fall district lease held with associates. A standard rig heads there and will spud well number one about 1.25 miles north of a Lincoln-Idaho well. The syndicate is backed by Nevada and California capitalists.
Lincoln Abstract and Realty Co organized with J. L. Rosenberg as secretary and general manager. Directors M. S. Reynolds, J. L. Rosenberg, and N. W. Reynolds created officers Reynolds president treasurer and Rosenberg secretary. The firm plans land, mortgages and real estate sales from offices in the Holmes Building.
County official Asauwer J. P. Rosenberg states one census enumerator is needed per election precinct. Enumerators begin January 2, with discharged soldiers, sailors and marines to receive assistance.
