Opportunity A Chance in Granger Lands Prove Dormant Farmland

A few years ago activists including David Bagley of Granger began pushing to reclaim lands in the area. Now Bayley ranch production shows alfalfa and potatoes thriving on a 500 acre tract as grain, vegetables, and other crops yield well. Bagley & Gray own 8,230 acres in a key triangle within the 2,000,000 acre winter range. In winter, over 200,000 sheep graze nearby, signaling a potential wool boom and renewed farming appeal for drought-stricken regions seeking new markets and buyers from the east.
