Two Inventors Chase Across the Block in Wild Run
A humorous tale from a busy street shows Smith the trolley conductor and Jones the motorman devising mechanical ideas. They endlessly chase each other around the same city block seeking contact, swapping letters, and finally concluding fate keeps их apart. The piece ends noting their pursuit as a commentary on great minds running in the same channel.
