Burke Drives New Water Well at Sublet to Relieve Shortage

Burke of Keifer Oklahoma brother of Kay arrived in Kemmerer this week to drill a new water well at Sublet. Sublet has relied on two nearby springs for supply but they have run dry and water must be hauled daily from Kemmerer. After completing Sublet work Burke plans to drill for LaBarge Oil Company in LaBarge, Wyoming, to test a depth for a new well.

Operator Trainer Visits Kemmerer From Pocatello District

Regina Borenne, district traffic chief of Mountain Baton Telephone and Telegraph Co., visited Kemmerer to instruct operators at the Kemmerer Exchange. A string of burglaries occurred in Evanston Sunday night with seven buildings entered.
