Sam Ross Returns From Overseas Service

Sam Ross, last of the Lincoln County Machine Gun Company, arrived in Kemmerer last week. He left August 5, 1917, landed in France January 1918, joined the 2nd Division, served on several fronts, and spent months in the army of occupation. he is nephew of A. D. Hoskins and works at the B. PF. H. store.

Wolfenberger Pleads Guilty to Grand Larceny Sentenced

Clarence Wolfenberger pleaded guilty in Judge Glasgow's court to grand larceny and was sentenced to six months in the county jail. He admitted stealing a gun from Big Piney Mercantile about six months earlier. R. M. Witherspoon of BH. K. Mulford in Salt Lake City visited Kemmerer this week to attend to business and his brother W. J. Witherspoon.
