Robert D Carey the recently elected Governor of Wyoming was born in Cheyenne Wyoming on August 12 1878. He is the son of Joseph M and Louisa Carey and was educated in Cheyenne public schools and at Yale where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1900. He has ranching and business interests in multiple counties, led the Wyoming Stock Growers Association, and has held public roles including county commissioner and highway commission chairman.
