Armistice Day Celebrated With Community Events in Kemmerer

Kemmerer marked the first Armistice Day anniversary despite a near blizzard. The daytime program moved to the high school auditorium with speeches by W J Witherspoon and Prof Moyer, plus singing and a French Marsellaise. An evening Mason lodge event at the Lyceum Hall featured decorated rooms, punch service, and a dance, followed by refreshments at the Columbia Sweet Shop.

Twichel family comes to Kemmerer for son with diphtheria

Mr and Mrs Phil Twichel of La Rage have stayed in Kemmerer to be near their 17 year old son Boyle isolated at L A M hospital with diphtheria. He is improving and recovery is assured after a serious spell. Phil Teffler of Cokeville visited Kemmerer this week and is recovering from a paralytic stroke, able to move with a cane.
