Death of a Sheepherder at Green River Mouth
Coroner Embree was notified Sunday morning a man named George Stone, a sheepherder for Harry Case, was found dead along Green River near Slate Creek. Stone likely tried to ride a saddle horse with a tarpaulin bed behind him. the rope around his waist loosened from the saddle horn, the horse threw him, and the bed was dragged a mile or two before becoming tangled in trees.

Fuller Pleads Guilty in Fraud Case
Fuller Pleads Guilty, former city engineer of Rock Springs, for passing numerous fraudulent checks in Rock Springs, Green River, and Rock Springs last fall. He was sentenced to two to three years in the penitentiary by the Sweetwater county district court last week. Other pending cases likely to be dropped by his release.

The Indtion of St Margaret's Guild of the Episcopal church was hosted by Mrs. G. Whitten last Thursday afternoon. Twenty two ladies attended and a charity snack was served. The Guild will furnish church furniture in Gothic style with green velvet carpets and draperies. Miss Hattie Hill runs Star Valley Independent during Editor Carson's absence. Pete Olson of Cokeville was in Salt Lake City and Mrs. Hill delivered a creditable paper.

Charivari For Lyceum Manager After Quiet Marriage
A local charivari greeted Lyceum manager Alex Scott after a quiet recent marriage.
