Oliver King, a patrician, falls for a chorus girl who deceives him. Blackmailed over a baby, the girl dies. King raises the boy but refuses paternity. The son, later expelled from college, drifts to Kings former home, becomes a narcotics addict, and is killed in a struggle with Mrs. King who then confesses. A ruined marriage ends in reconciliation as the truth emerges. May 19 and 20 showtimes at New Kemmerer Theatre.
A new five act drama titled Martha's Vindication features a betrayed heroine and the moral fabric theme. The piece, star Frank Mills and producer Thomas H Ince, plays at New Kemmerer Theatre from May 23 after a May 21 local preview.
