Mr Charles Lackey visited Kemmerer to buy arpcohiens for drilling on the Jack Baum lease in Dry Piney field. The rig is on the ground and should operate by Friday with about 400 feet of casing installed. Bear River Oil and Development Near Cage

L. B. Pead of Sage visited Kemmerer Saturday and reported two large derricks of 66 feet were unloaded near Bear River Oil and Development property near Sage. The operators plan to reach 2600 feet or more if no strike occurs, with Gallatine brothers and other investors dominant locally and from the East.

Local wool trading shows little shift from last week with buyers scarce but price advocates seeking reasonable levels. Shearing at Matthews corral paused with 80 000 fleeces removed. Watts corral also wound down as crews dispersed.
