A local shop advertises a fresh lot of salt materials including serges worsteds cassimeres and deviots in stripes checks plaids and plain weaves. They promise expert cutting and fitting and claim affordable prices suitable for all budgets.
Belonging to "Toots" Strine, a pet bear broke loose in Kemmerer last week and climbed a tele phone pole near the Quealy residence. After a reluctant rescue by Marshall Scott, the bear was captured and shot, ending its roaming.
Mrs Eynon and four children in the Frank Eynon household are ill with smallpox. Mr Eynon says the family is improving though seriously ill as all are under care. The nose appears misspelled in OCR but refers to smallpox illness at the Frontier area.

A Welsh born miner aged 75 known as Uncle Tom Thomas died last Thursday night at Evanston Mental Hospital after two weeks there. He came to America in 1880, worked at Sublet camp for two decades, and belonged to the I O C F and Knights of Pythias. Survived by sister Lydia Williams of Cumberland and nephew William Thomas of Sublet, plus sister-in-law Mrs Thomas Gilchrist of Kemmerer. Funeral in Coalville Utah with burial beside his wife.
County Clerk Nicholson issued a marriage license to John E Barkdull and Arinda C Hoops last Thursday. The couple, both residents of Star Valley, make their home at Fairview.
The Wyoming relief drive for Ireland reports broad, non sectarian backing. P J Quealy leads submissions through First National Bank with Hoover endorsing the effort and pledging efficient, humanitarian aid for war torn Ireland.
The Methodist church will hold Easter services with evangelist offerings on Sunday the 27th. The choir will perform special music in the morning and evening. The pastor, Rev. John E Williams, will preach at 11 am on Did Christ Arise from the Tomb. Evening sermon topic is The Philosophy of the Plan of Salvation. St Margarets Guild will meet on the 31st.
The next meeting of St Margar et's Guild will be held Thursday March 31 at which time Mrs. E J Long will be hostess. All ladies are cordially invited to attend.
