Court House Notes Land patents and warranty deeds filed this week

New Church at Big Piney Progress Report
Rev A F Schepp of Holy Communion Episcopal Church in Rock Springs visited Kemmerer with Rev Cresson of St James to witness the new church at Big Piney, set to complete by August first. The $1100 building cost is fully funded and a resident pastor is expected by early August according to Rev Schepp.

Auto Trip Through Bear Lake to Gentile Valley
Mr and Mia, Ivan Jones returned last Wednesday from a five day auto trip through the Bear Lake country and down into the Gentile Valley below Soda Springs. They had a very pleasant trip and started for Salt Lake City but the baby not feeling well compelled their return. The weather was fine and the roads good.

A new ruling by the post office department allows money orders to be cashed at any money order office in the United States if presented for payment within 30 days after issue. Effective after July 1 this change should greatly increase convenience and likely boost demand for money orders.
