Christmas was celebrated at the camp with a two pm school program and a decorated tree. A Cabinet Grafondo was unveiled for the school and neighborhood. Evening concerts and a New Year party followed, despite illness. Local club met at Mrs Geer’s. next meeting at Mrs Gay Rose’s. Several residents listed as sick. Roy Bosworth assists New Geer with inventory for Frontier Supply Co. Mrs Alt Huxfort displays a gold ring and chain.

The State Board of School Land Commissioners announces a public auction sale of school lands in Kemmerer Lincoln County Wyoming on February 3 1917 at 1 oclock PM at the courthouse front door. Parcels include South half section 36 township 42 north range 116 west containing 20 acres more or less with appraised value per acre 13.95 and minimum bids set. Purchasers may pay at sale or via up to eighteen yearly payments at 4 percent interest. Costs and improvements handled by purchaser. The board may reject any bids. Seal and signatures dated December 2 1916.
