W Brammer 15 Victim of Pneumonia in Kemmerer

W Brammer, 15 years a railroad agent for Oregon Short Line, died of pneumonia after a severe cold. He lived in Kemmerer fourteen years, served in multiple railroad roles, and was a trusted city official. Survived by wife Gertrude Jones Brammer and four children, plus two sisters. Funeral set for this afternoon. services at 1 o'clock.

Guido Mama Victim of HU Bullet Dies in France

A telegram from the war department confirms Guido Inama, son of Coleste Coniary, died in France on November 1 after being wounded September 29. He was a Colgate student, from a Kemmerer area family, with several siblings and both parents. Local Opal ties noted as well.

Peterson Family Mourns Influenza Deaths in Riverton

Osar Peterson and George Watts returned from Riverton Utah after attending the funeral of Angus Peterson who died last Thursday and was buried Saturday. An hour later Mrs Peterson died and was buried the next day. The deaths orphan five children who will be cared for by Mr Onar Peterson and brothers.

Injury Ends For Pocatelio Worker Fingers Lost Between Cars

Drakeman Charen Lockard of Pocatelio offered the best right arm while passing between two freight cars at Granger Sunday evening. His hand was cut off when the cars were pushed together. He was taken to a hospital at Rock Springs for surgical care.

Five Deaths in Jackson Hole From Influenza Surge

A Jackson Hole correspondent reports over 300 Spanish influenza cases in the valley within 24 hours and five deaths in the preceding day. Victims include Hyrum Delaney and A B Ole, with others unnamed. Attempts to reach Jackson Hole by telephone failed due to lines being down. Dr O W Hult remains at home, with several family members ill.

Mrs Medile McDill Dies of Pneumonia in Kemmerer

Mrs. W. F. McDill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Jones, died at her Kemmerer home after a severe cold worsened. She was said to be improving the morning Yeate day, and leaves behind her husband serving in France, two daughters Phillis and Bignuch, aged ten and four, and her parents and siblings.

Fire destroys Wyoming Mail Order House and stock

A morning blaze at the Wyoming Mail Order House wholesale and retail liquor establishment owned by Sigmund Kohn left the building a complete loss with stock destroyed. Firefighters saved the adjacent frame building and residence of Dr. Newland. Estimated loss about 9 5,000 with partial insurance coverage. Kohn plans to resume business in days.
