Rosenberg Family in Military Service Across States

James P. Rosenberg reports from Oregon that his youngest brother Harry, living in Prineville, has been commissioned to the medical department and has gone to Fort Douglas. The Rosenbergs have strong volunteer representation and two sons in the Wyoming national guard, plus two nephews in the service.

Fire alarm sounds as ironing causes minor blaze

Monday noon the fire department responded when a fire started at the home of Mrs. Fred Weyeneth. An iron left on overheating ignited clothes on the ironing board, but neighbors assisted and the fire was extinguished with little damage.

Tickets on sale for Kemmerer Chautauqua event

A Kemmerer committee announces a single big ticket day for the Chautauqua next week. Local business men from Kemmerer Diamondville and Frontier will sell limited tickets at 2.50 each, with later price increases. Ticket buyers will gain admission to twelve top entertainments. Buy early on Thursday morning.

To Palo Alto Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walters and family, with Mrs. Nott and daughter Elinor, depart Kemmerer for Salt Lake City for about three weeks then proceed overland to Palo Alto Calif to spend the winter.
