Tourists report the Victor Wyoming to Yellowstone Park route via Teton Pass is the best. The road is in good condition except near the summit where crews work. Gas tank issues and low vacuum feed can hinder summit cars. use care before starting over the hill. Snake River ferry charge reduced to 1.50 per car. Heback Canyon road from Shoal Creek to Jackson is good, above Shoal Creek rough but passable. Some motorists cross Hoback River via Van Vieck ranch for $10 per car to pull through five fords. Incorrect turns toward Gros Ventre River from Kelly mislead drivers. after Crystal Creek the route is barely passable for high clearance vehicles. Reliable road logs available at hotels, Jackson Mercantile, or Forest Supervisor. Fishing good in all streams though Jackson Lake excels as low streams drive fish into lake feeding larger fish.
