Death of J. Quealy Remains Noted in Omaha Community
J J Quealy died after long service to the Cambridge Omaha community. He came to the United States as a young man, married in Cambridge, and for thirty years lived in South Omaha where he built up the local business and civic life. He served in India during the Sepoy mutiny era, leaving a wife four sons and two married daughters. Funeral at St Peters Church Friday at 9:30. Interment at St Marys Cemetery South Omaha.

Log Drive Reaches Frontier With 18000 Logs Floated Down Eastfork
P. J. Quealy organized 58 men under A. McDonald to place 18000 logs at Eastfork mouth, 40 miles up, on July 28. The crew has moved downstream past low water obstacles and expects to land the logs at Frontier by the 25th. Afterward, workers will harvest more logs for winter ice and spring flotation.
