James S. Roberts of Cokeville returned late in the week to finish proof on land and press for a road linking his ranch to Cokeville. The proposed route would cut travel distance roughly in half, with rights-of-way held up after a year survey. the matter likely goes to the county commissioners at their next session.
At the meeting the decision was made to hold a conference in Cheyenne last Saturday night. Hon Geo E Pexton of Evanston sent a National Committee communication calling for reduced representation at the National convention but he left early for home. Among attending Republican editors were A H Maxwell Lander State Journal W E Chaplin Laramie Republican and K F Potter Douglas Enterprise with his daughter.
The shearing and dipping corrals under my management will be open on and after April 1 at Opal and Willow Creek. Bert Sandberg of Kemmerer, Wyoming, provides and on patronage soil are listed.
