Caroline Latz aged 68 and her daughter Josephine were examined by a lunacy commission in the county court. Judge Cowing ordered both to be removed to the state asylum at Kankakee for treatment. The mother, speaking no English, believes Joliet has replaced her daughter and son in law at 1308 No Broadway, where they reside. The daughter shows melancholia and is expected to develop insanity, warranting treatment.
