Store owner arrested on receiving stolen property charge
Samuel Kroon proprietor of a store at 1103 Collins street was arrested on a state warrant for receiving stolen property. He was brought before Justice Nichols and the case continued until Friday at 9 oclock with bond set at 3100. The goods consisted of seven stolen albums.

Magistrate E M Allen was called to Chicago by the death of his aunt Mrs ER A Allen who died at her Madison avenue home. The Joliet resident was well known and will be buried in Oakland cemetery. Allen was arranging funeral plans when court proceedings were interrupted.
