State Fair Secures Hagenbach Great Wallace Show
The Carl Hagenbach Great Wallace traveling exhibit is contracted for the State Fair. The caravan includes twenty cars with three hundred horses each and seven hundred workers. The show will be aired in the quarter stretch in front of the grandstand for Nebraska audiences only this year. Lee Richards to hold public sale February 19 at his Jansen area farm featuring horses mules cattle and farm implements. Mr. C Paul shows gradual recovery and can walk indoors. Boy shot in leg as rifle misfires at home
Willie Boekelman was accidentally shot in the leg while his sister Neta played with an apparently unloaded rifle near his father and brother. Dr. Penner treated the injured boy, who was moved to the Vorderstrasse home for care as his mother’s serious illness needed attention.
