Rempel Family Returns From Oregon After Illness
G. G. Rempel and family traveled to Dallas Oregon on December 26 following word of Mrs Abr Ens illness. They found her improving but she soon worsened and died January 26 at 71. Funeral held January 28.

Death of Hugo Weichel
Hugo Weichel died early Tuesday of last week at his home 8 miles northwest of Plymouth after eight days of influenza. He had asthma for years and was born January 21, 1881. He married Louise Lucking on May 31, 1906 and is survived by his wife, four children, his parents, and siblings. Funeral was held February 5 at 1 PM at home and cemetery in Luth eran Friedens Church with Pastor Heckel officiating. The Weichel and Oscar Weichel families were stricken with influenza amid several local cases in Gibson precinct.
