Mr G Sommers returned to Lincoln Tuesday after visiting H B Wegeles. Miss Esther Keifer of near Omaha visited Minnie Wittmuss. Mrs H E Wegle and daughter Hilda visited with Mrs J J Ratzlaff.
After a brief improvement, N B Friesen's condition worsened and he decided to submit to amputation of his limb causing him intense suffering. A letter to his son Joan A Friesen says the operation was to be performed Tuesday, but no word had been received by press time, suggesting a possible postponement.
