Katharina Loettkeman Fast born in South Russia on Feb 11 1887 died in Jansen Neb Saturday January 1917 at age 79 years 1 month 16 days. Survived by husband J W Fast three sons J C Fast J J Fast H H Fast and daughter Mrs J H Balzer. 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral in M B Church conducted by Rev J K Ens and Isaac Wall with large attendance.

Louie E Gaylor took rural carriers civil service exams at Fairbury Saturday morning and remains liable to Federal service at any time.
