The Boys may DOW enter er ity School of Foci as of 16 with a reduced age limit to fit a large number of eager students. The Dan School of Agriculture offers practical farming and stock raising, encouraging boys interested in agriculture to investigate. Enrollments typically reach about 300.
Mennonites seek a Paraguayan settlement offering military immunity, religious liberty, and self government. They will establish schools teaching German, import farming tools duty free for ten years, and operate under local governance while preserving tenets of their faith.
An eight year old boy, but son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Achtemeier who live southeast of town, sustained a severe barbed wire cut on his left cheek Monday evening while bringing the cows home from the pasture. A loose wire in the lane snagged the boy and the wound was dressed. the family expects little or no lasting scar.
