Harrison man charged with speeding and felonious assault
Francis Colegate of 11101 Carolina Trace Road Harrison Ohio was charged early Thursday with speeding and felonious assault on a police officer after a chase on New Haven Road. Police say he reached through a cruiser window, released a shotgun safety, and fired, shattering a rear window and injuring Patrolman Strecker. He was in custody and later appeared in Hamilton Municipal Court.

David Frey 16 Killed in Auto Accident near Brookville
David Frey aged 16 of Cedar Grove Indiana died in a Brookville Township car crash on Overlook Road one mile north of Brookville. Driver Mark A Vilas 16 of Cincinnati suffered minor injuries. Frey was a Brookville High sophomore and active in several student clubs. Funeral arrangements set at Guardian Angel Church Cedar Grove with services May 19.
