Village Historical Society Holds Meeting At Brater Home
Members and friends of the Village Historical Society met March 6 at John and Kathy Brater home. Kroger employees donated funds from a bake sale, aiding the Othniel Locker Home Restoration. Gulf Oil matched gifts to reduce indebtedness, with plans for a parking area and filing cabinets. Notepaper with historic illustrations is sold at Culley’s Pharmacy.

SOC announces $100000 in Directors Academic Scholarships for Ohio Indiana and Northern Kentucky high school seniors. The Ohio Veterans Agent Orange Program continues collecting service and health data from veterans who served in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Physicians submit exam results at veterans request. veterans pay the examination cost. The program runs through June 1984 to aid research on health effects, including possible chloracne, with brochure access at local veterans organizations or by writing to The Ohio State University Department of Preventive Medicine.
