Dennis Steelman will enroll at Wabash College in the fall as part of 75 freshmen reporting to the Little Giant football camp. The Indiana ICC school expects several yearlings to push into the starting lineup before the September 9 opener with Valparaiso.

Youth Killed Three Injured In Kilby Road Crash
One youth, Melvin Hughes aged 17 of Connersville, was killed when a car crashed into a guardrail and wall on Kilby Road. Kathleen Klump 22 of Guilford died from injuries after a three car crash on North Dearborn Road near Dover. She planned to marry in July to Jack Ketcham of Bright Indiana and had graduated from Thomas More College. She taught first grade in Sunman and died at Christ Hospital Cincinnati.
