Sunsphere and China Exhibit Draw at World's Fair
The Knox County World's Fair features 21 foreign nations plus the United States. The U S Pavilion is the largest hall on the 72 acre site with video displays on energy. the China Pavilion showcases art porcelain and Great Wall bricks. Sunsphere rises 266 feet and serves as a landmark for visitors. Admission runs from 8 to 9.95 dollars with two day passes. parking costs vary by lot. After Oct 31 the fairgrounds become a city park and convention hub with Sunsphere to operate as a restaurant.
