History project brings Looker home back to life
Anne and Eugene Woelfel lead the Harrison Village Historical Society in restoring the Looker home on Marvin Road begun in 1962. The group salvaged and rebuilt interior features, matched original colors, and funded work through bake sales and gifts including a $10,000 donation by Carl Gieringer. The house opens to the public during holidays for the Christmas Boutique with Xi Eta lota sorority, showcasing authentic restoration and limited visible wiring.

Smaller Than Life Exhibition at Sharon Woods Village
Sharon Woods Village presents Smaller Than Life an exhibit of authentic and reproduced minatures from the Mid Victorian period on display July 21 to August 19. The collection includes miniature buildings furnishings and toys set in 1804 1880 Sharon Woods Village hours are Saturdays Sundays 1pm to 5pm and Tue Thu 10am to 4pm with last ticket one hour before closing. Admission 2 adults 1 senior 50c child under 16. Route 42 one mile south of the ticker $1 per trip or $3 for season.
