Reward Offered For Info On Schlemmer Arson Fire
A thousand dollar reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for a December 27 arson at the John Schlemmer Fuel Oil Feed and Coal Company. The Indiana Arson and Crime Association and property insurers back the notice. Deputy State Fire Marshal Bryan Frank says the fire was arson and urges tips to 1-800-382-4628.

Fernald plant meeting as Luken attends concerns
About 200 people gathered January 11 to discuss Fernald events with Congressman Tom Luken in attendance. New Church Dedication at Miami Whitewater Church of Christ
The Miami Whitewater Church of Christ will dedicate its new building at Harrison Ave and Morgan Rd on January 20 at 2 00 pm. The Rev. Gaston Cogdell of Clifton Church of Christ leads the dedication with a daylong schedule including Bible study worship singing and evening worship starting 9 30 am through 5 00 pm. The project began with local members renovating an old Indiana school building after the 1975 founding.
