Electric Rates To Be Lower In Early 1984
The Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company will reduce electric rates for the first half of 1984 due to a lower electric fuel component. A typical 800 kWh monthly bill drops from 54.55 to 53.61 dollars. The EFC falls from 1.8947 to 1.7788 cents per kWh as approved by PUCO. Cold weather could raise bills despite lower rates. Gas rates for Q1 1984 also fall to the lowest since late 1982 due to cheaper gas.
