Mr and Mrs Edwin Fox of College Corner Ohio celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the VMI Hall in Richmond Indiana on December 17 with about 200 relatives and friends from six states. He and Dorothea Roudebush were wed December 15 1933 in Cleves Ohio and moved to College Corner. Retired farmers they have four children six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Stone Valley Dancers wrapped up 1983 with a New Year’s Eve barn party drawing over 70 square dancers and cloggers, no alcohol, a wholesome family atmosphere, and plenty of finger foods. They performed at several local venues for fundraising and announced new clogging classes starting January 9, 10, and 14, with weekly 1 hour 15 minute sessions costing 20 dollars for 10 weeks. Age 5 and up welcome. call 637-5183 to register.
The Health Awareness Department will run two six week Back Care Education programs starting January 4 1984. Classes meet six consecutive Wednesdays from 5 to 6 PM and 7 to 8 PM at the Powel Crosley Mansion. Fee is 50 dollars per person. Call 853-5882 for info and registration.
