Mrs Walter Brown described a tragedy at the Masset home when a coat chase led to a pond near dusk. Neighbors said Lou Lunsford was in the water striving to rescue the boy as Walter Brown pulled the boy free before reentering for the mother and girl. Two witnesses noted the boy floated face down. The service is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev Randy Moore of Bright Christian Church officiating before interment.
