Paul Rutledge announces the Showboat Majestic’s 60th anniversary season at Cincinnati Public Landing for 1983 with seven productions including The Hasty Heart Riverwind The Odd Couple Showboat Follies 1983 Arsenic And Old Lace Ain't Misbehavin and See How They Run. Performances run Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm Fridays and Saturdays at 7 and 10 pm and Sundays at 3 pm.
Senator Johnny Nugent reports on week four of Indiana's General Assembly. Senate defeats Eastern Daylight Time proposal 46 to 4 and contemplates a shift to Central Time. A bill to prevent future Baby Doe cases broadens juvenile law oversight. Other measures pass to regulate alcohol sales to minors and define public record access, with 19 session days completed.
