The Story Of Harry The Peacock SPCA
Jackman spotted Harry the royal blue necked peacock last Thursday as the bird searched for food and fled from people. Naturalists, conservation officer, Cincinnati Zoo and SPCA were alerted and consulted residents and the newspaper about a missing bird. The SPCA planned to capture the wary bird and move it to a suitable home at the zoo. Harry enjoyed sleeping in trees and bright bird seed, often reacting to his reflection and neighbors, before fleeing into nearby woods when approached.
