Cats Fall To Trojans And Pioneers In Two Close Games
Barry Niemeyer reports Harrison Wildcats drop to 1-3 after tough back to back losses to East Central and Greenhills. East Central relied on a scrappy attack and balanced scoring led by Scott Chapman and Bill Moser, while Harrison battled turnovers and cold shooting. Glenn Hughes posted 20 points and 15 rebounds in the East Central game, with Vanderpohl and Kinnett also contributing. In the Greenhills contest Harrison trailed from the start as the taller front line, led by Todd Carter and Jeff Adams, overwhelmed the Cats who failed to lead, despite late second quarter rally. Bovard notes mental focus and summer practice gaps as key factors, with next games against North College Hill and Taylor looming.
