Superintendent’s Comments on Two-Phase Redistricting Plan
The plan reassigns Harrison Elementary’s southern attendance area to Hooven Elizabethtown, reducing Harrison enrollment to about 900. The second phase would shift the northern area in years, but lottery funds for Crosby expansion prompt rapid action to add 4 classrooms for 350 total capacity, raising Crosby to 16 rooms and enabling K-6 classes plus library, art, and music. The goal is Harrison under 800 before the 1985-86 year starts.
