The April meeting on Tuesday April 22 at 8 p.m. features Jack Klosterman of Civil Defense speaking on Tornado Alerts and preparation. Movies slides and pamphlets will supplement the talk. Refreshments follow. venue at 8453 Winton Road.
Gospel Avenue Baptist Church at 1125 Harrison Avenue hosts a Saturday night program on April 19 at 7 30 featuring three groups in a community gospel concert.
The Harrison Police Department continues to investigate a house break in. An April 19 meeting notes Stated Meeting through April 24 1975 at 8 00 p m at Ross Middle School 3371 Hamilton Cleves Road Hamilton Ohio with public attendance invited. Dinner is at 6 00 p m and a meeting at 7 30 p m. The work relates to the B A degree program.
A five night smoking withdrawal clinic begins April 21 at 7 30 p m in the main Public Library downtown Cincinnati sponsored by the Lung Association Heart Association Cancer Society and the National Five Day Plan to Quit Smoking. Free and open to the public pre registration not required for more information call 751 3650. Story hours at Harrison Branch Library start April 21 with picture book time for ages 3 4 5 at 2 00 p m and story hour for ages 6 7 8 at 4 00 p m.
The Village of Harrison Ohio proclaims April 22 1975 as Queen Isabella Day. Mayor Harry A Rolfes urges citizens to reacquaint themselves with the historical impact of Queen Isabella of Castile and her support for Columbus.

A science fair at N D Elementary with a country store, crafts and baked goods, plus a flea market hosted by the Miamitown Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday April 19 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Dealers may set up after 9:00 A.M. Lunch served. reservations via Charles Beckett. Also notes real estate listings in New Trenton Indiana with a lot sale and tax rebate guidance.
All members of Harrison High School graduating class of 1950 are invited to a planning meeting for the 25th Anniversary. The meeting is at 7 30 pm Thursday April 24 at Carl Greenham's home 702 East St Harrison Ohio.
Sixth graders start work to raise funds for a May Environmental Outdoor Education Program. Students list jobs like washing cars, house cleaning, mowing lawns, errands, and chores to cover camp costs. Two information sessions for parents boosted interest and volunteer supervision.
About 500 seventh and eighth graders at William Henry Harrison Junior School plan a 50s day with a big event at Harrison. Teachers join in wearing period fashion and dance from 1 00 to 2 30 as the school band Rider and his stars plays the jitterbug. Two out of town juveniles face a juvenile court appearance for attempted tire theft after being caught by police.
Mrs Edgar Schlemmer presented a 48 star flag to V H S displayed at the ceremony. George S Minges spoke on Sat April 26 at St John the Baptist Church in Harrison. Mrs Lillian W Cook of Aurora introduced, recounting the first steamboat on the Ohio River and excerpts from Frank Y Grayson's Thrills of the Star.
Harrison High School baseball team extended their record to nine wins and one loss with a 2 1 win over Fineytown at the Blue Devils' diamond. Dean Meece Brad Gray and Kenny Werner each have twenty pitching decisions, Mark Cooper leads hitters at .526 with Steve Brech .480 Pete Nolan .434 Wayne Thacker .400 Brad Gray .368 and Kenny Werner .350.
The William Henry Harrison High School chorus directed by Mr. John Love will perform a Pop Concert on May 15 at 8:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The program spans Folk, Country Western, Rock and Gospel as the public is invited to attend and tickets are 50 cents at the door, with under 12s free.
Harrison's Century and Silver celebration announces a reigning King and Queen with their court. The King and Queen and their attendants will be honored at all events. Nominees must be aged 16 to 21 inclusive and petitions should include photographs of the nominees.
The Miamitown Bridge will reopen May 3 following extensive repair work since February 1974. Crews installed truss rods and addressed structural problems that delayed its reopening.
An assembly Wednesday will highlight the R and R program at the high school. Speaker Mr Alexander J Bolla Jr of Bolla Mann Caulfield in Columbus serves as state legal counsel for the Ohio Association of Elementary School Principals.

Crosby 4th to 6th graders who enforce school rules will attend a Riverfront Stadium game on April 19, 1975 at 2 15 PM. Buses depart after class and sixth graders will bring pepper to the field. Fifth and sixth grade girls start softball teams with coaches Miss Fish Mr Dull Miss Passmore and Mrs Stauffer. Mr Glick acts as umpire. Families of sixth graders join Friday April 11, 1975.
Jeannie K Donovan 28 was taken to St George Hospital after her Ford Mustang rolled in the I 74 median 17S feet west of West Road overpass. The collision occurred at 12 57 pm and caused lacerations under her left eye.
The Republican Club meets April 21 in the Buffet Room at the Coffee Shop. Gov Intern Pete Nolan will speak about Mrs. Alma Sawyer, contact 367 6213 by Friday April 18. Attendees should arrive by 7:30 PM.
