About 11 o clock Saturday night burglars broke into the St Paul depot at Wauzeka Wis and rifled the express and mail sacks. Thieves knew there were valuables though the total plunder is unknown. A stranger passing the depot who was mistaken for an officer was shot and is in critical condition.
