The Pierson expedition from Chaboy departs October 30, while Campbell sails October 21. It is unlikely the two parties will meet in the Orient.
San Juani express on the Denver and Rio Grande wrecked by a broken axle on a trestle near Cotopaxi at 2 45 Sunday. Two day coaches and two sleepers went into the river.
