Berwin November 11 Telegraphs say Somalis dispersed the Peters column killing two Europeans and wounding another. Germans at Lamu doubt the rumors. An Arab sheik reportedly brought the news to Dr Peters forces.
In Salt vanna Utah on Nov 11 two Tribune office printers Frank D Romayne and M Hughes renewed a two week quarrel. Both armed Hughes fired five shots hitting Romayne in the body and killing him within minutes.
Diphtheria has broken out in the Children’s home and the County Alms House at Washtington. Ten deaths have occurred in the home and five others are ill with the disease. The outbreak has prompted health officials to monitor the facilities and enforce isolation measures as cases rise.
New Orleans on November 11 reports Patrick Airy was shot and killed this afternoon by Andy J. Berrill. Airy was a well known figure in the city for his local prize fighting reputation.
Wuerecent Nov 11 Mrs John Mc Lain wife of a prominent druggist drank aqua ammonia in mistake forunyach water. Her recovery is considered doubtful.
Parker Harris, a Black man, was convicted of murdering his wife. An appeal was filed to the Supreme Court.
Toronto on Ontario November 11. Andrew C Drumm has been arrested here charged with embezzling sixty thousand dollars from his uncle Major Drumm.
In Trenton Missouri on November 11 a jury found Curtis Nichols guilty of murder in the second degree for the March killing of Jack Peffers an elderly farmer and horse trader. This marked Nichols third trial and the court set his punishment at ninety nine years in the penitentiary.

Captain Brooks of the steamer Arizona reported sighting the Queensmore on November 5 in latitude 51.09, longitude 25.17. The ship struck rocks off Three Castles Head in fog and sank. all 75 crew members were saved and cargo valued at $500,000. Ownership was W. H. Johnson & Co of Liverpool. voyage from Baltimore to Liverpool.
Des Moines Iowa November 12 The official state officer vote canvassed from eighty six of ninety nine counties shows Boies Democrat elected as governor by an estimated six thousand plurality. Poyneer Republican leads Hutchison for lieutenant governor by about five hundred, with the remaining Republican ticket elected by one to three thousand plurality in most counties.
Jefferson City Missouri November 12 Secretary of State Lesueur intensifies efforts to enforce the anti pool and trust statute by sending a circular to all corporations that did not file the legally required affidavit.

General Thomas Francis Bourke a noted Irish agitator died yesterday at his residence 209 East Thirty sixth street after a ten day illness from acute inflammation of the kidneys.
